When creating your block, you can fill the tree section with a single piece of green fabric, or sew together scraps of green fabric to create a piece of “made fabric” - see second image for examples of both.

Our paper piecing patterns are designed by Kat Salemno of One Stitch Back. Please note, these patterns and directions assume you know the basics of paper piecing - if you have not done paper piecing before, we recommend using this tutorial.
