Pattern and instructions to create finished 6" Scrappy Splits blocks using foundation paper piecing method.
Your purchase includes 2 patterns and 2 pages of directions - one pattern has 10 pieces in the center panel, plus 2 side panels. The second pattern has an open center panel for using "made fabric" - fabric that you make from sewing scraps.
The 12 piece pattern creates a pinwheel effect when sewn into 4 block units. The 3 piece pattern creates a much more scrappy look.
For one example of the 3 piece pattern, I chose to strip-piece selvages for my center panel, but you could sew with whatever scraps you have! I recommend using a low volume print for the background fabric.
